When it comes to fibres, let us do the cooking
Some of the most challenging process engineering takes place within the paper and pulp industry, with state-of-the-art technology being used to minimise the impact on the environment at every stage of the process, all the way from the raw materials to recycling. Wood is cooked, before chemicals are added and a fibre pulp is created. This is where our valves have an important part to play, as they ensure that the boiler doesn't stop working and that the pulp doesn't dry out. For this job, the industry relies on main steam stop valves, which are more often than not made here in-house.
