The brothers Emil and Hugo Siepmann had managed the company established
by their brother in law Louis Peters in 1891 right from the start, only buying him
out in stages in the period from 1895 to 1911.

The company STAHL-ARMATUREN PERSTA GmbH was later established in 1946,
the same year the in-house production of industrial steel valves was taken up.
